Diplômes a Dubaï

Des programmes pour chaque niveau d'études.

Harmonisées avec le système LMD (Licence, Master, Doctorat), les études universitaires à Dubaï sont dispensées en anglais et donnent accès à des diplômes reconnus internationalement. Plusieurs possibilités vous sont offertes :

  • Semestre universitaire à Dubaï : effectuer 1 ou 2 semestres dans une université et valider 30 crédits ECTS à son retour en France. Cette option est souvent offerte dans le cadre d’un cursus suivi en France. Ce semestre ou cette année à l’étranger devient très courant, voire obligatoire dans certaines écoles françaises. Ce « Gap year » peut permettre aux étudiants encore indécis de suivre 3 ou 4 matières pendant un semestre afin qu’à son retour en France, l’étudiant puisse avoir trouvé sa voie et commencer ou poursuivre un cursus. Il peut s’agir également d’une année de césure pendant laquelle un étudiant soumet à son école l’envie de partir 1 ou 2 semestre dans une université étrangère.
  • Bachelor : cela correspond à une licence Bac +3, avec la possibilité pour ceux qui n’auraient le niveau requis, d’intégrer le Bachelor en commençant par un « Diploma » (formation professionnelle de niveau bac +1), qui sera d’un niveau adapté et dans des plus petites classes. Cette année assez générale vous permettra d’intégrer directement en 2ème année de Bachelor. Il n’y aura donc aucune perte de temps puisque la durée totalte du cursus sera de 3 années.

Les programmes Masters et au delà

  • Master : Le système universitaire de Dubaï ne distingue pas les Master 1 et Master 2. Le Master à Dubaï est d’une durée de 18 à 24 mois, selon votre niveau d’études.

Certaines universités à Dubaï permettent de suivre en Master un cursus différent de celui suivi en Licence. Cette possibilité permet d’acquérir une double compétence, de niveau Master.

  • Doctorat : les thèses de recherche, appelés Phd, sont accessibles aux détenteurs d’un diplôme de Master.

Quel type d'études puis-je entreprendre à Dubaï ?

Les universités permettent d’étudier dans de nombreux domaines, tels que le BUSINESS, la FINANCE …

A Dubaï vous pourrez également étudier les SCIENCES ou encore l’INGENIERIE / INFORMATIQUE.

Les programmes pour Ingénieurs offrent de multiples spécialisations : civil, mécatronique, mécanique, chimie, alimentaire, environnementale, métallurgie, géotechnique, systèmes d’information, biomédical, etc …

A la différence de la France, Dubaï ne propose pas de classes préparatoires, mais des formations de Bachelor et Master of Engineering, en 4 ans. Les cursus en Informatique sont quant à eux composés d’un Bachelor en 3 ans, suivi d’un Master en 2 ans. Les programmes en COMMUNICATION seront larges et variés, dans les domaines de la communication écrite, des médias ou encore de la production (audio & vidéo), de la Licence Bac + 3 au Master 2.

Quel niveau d'anglais faut-il avoir pour étudier à Dubaï ?

Le niveau d’anglais requis dépendra du programme choisi. Les universités à Dubaï reconnaissent 2 tests d’anglais : soit l’IELTS (organisé par le British Council), ou bien le TOEFL (examen américain). Lorsque le niveau d’anglais n’est pas suffisant, un test d’anglais est organisé afin de permettre de partir en amont du programme, afin de suivre une remise à niveau d’anglais académique sur place au sein de l’université. La durée de cette remise à niveau dépendra du niveau d’anglais déja acquis, et du niveau nécessaire pour suivre la formation.
